Engineers have performed a recovery process against the Core Router onsite which has resolved the issue and all services are now back online.

After a planned software upgrade earlier this morning, one of our Core Routers at the HLZ/Hamilton Innovation Waikato POP failed to recover. Work is currently in progress to investigate and resolve this as members directly connected to this device will currently be offline.

INVESTIGATING

We are currently monitoring a potential issue that could affect connectivity in Dunedin. Current Situation: Our 100G backhaul link between CHC-DUD has gone down as of 10:35, forcing traffic to failover to our 20G backup link. It is possible that some traffic could be dropped during today's peak. REANNZ will attempt to mitigate this as much as possible. We have raised a priority case with our supplier and we are awaiting their initial investigation. Next update to be provided on status change.
